Brandon came to me yesterday morning after digging in the file cabinet for "nothing" as he told me when I asked what he was looking for, half dressesed in this amazing suit that he purchased himself from Banana Republic 2 weeks ago, the lower half of his body sported plaid boxers, he looked quite funny, anyway after a short while he came and found me and asked me to take his picture, when I ask what it was for he said "I have completed my portion of the online missionary recommend paperwork and I need to post a picture of myself with it, gladdly I took his picture but I'm now feeling like maybe another shot with a smile would be better? I had no idea what he had been working on this particular morning but he was up early and in a very good mood. He saw his pediatrician yesterday for a phyisical, we have lab orders to take care of, Dr Alston is seeing him on Monday for dental eval, and then it's wait and see time as all the doctors paperwork comes trickling in. Brandon has hopes of leaving after Christmas to serve a mission. I felt very humbled and emotional on my way to work yesterday at the thought of the changes I see in Brandon and his desire to serve.

ISN'T SHE BEAUTIFUL!
Dan and Katie had a sonogram last week and invited me to go, I was so excited...I was secretly hoping that we would see a baby girl since the last baby girl in our family was Katie, as I sat next to Dan in a semi dark room watching a massive TV screen on the wall that showed this little baby, I reflected back on my own sonograms with Brandon and Josh (never had one with Katie) and all those feelings came flooding back of how precious baby boys really are....I'm super excited for this little grandson to join our family in late August. Dan and Katie are going to be amazing parents and it's been so fun watching them journey down the road to parenthood.

Father Daughter Nap Time
Awww what a life! Jack has done so well with Daisy, it's almost like he knows she is one of his........Daisy is doing wonderfully, just turned 8 weeks today and she is adjusting great! She is from a litter of 7 and I think she is the smallest, very petite and has the cutest little face. Next week when her sister goes to her new home I will be able to spend more time with her doing the potty training thing.......fun fun fun.....NOT!

TWIN PUPPIES
The puppies are growing so fast. They will be 5 wks on Wednesday. These two are known as "THE TWINS" both female and look quite a bit a like with the exception of a few more freckles on the nose. The one on the left will be our new addition and the other one will be Aunt Cindy's and live in Tempe. I think we are going to name ours Daisy unless another name comes along that we all agree on. What I love about Daisy, she's very vocal, always talking even when she is dozing off to sleep......

Lute and the boys
On Thursday night Jim had 4 tickets to the U of A basketball game and sent our kids with them because we were heading out of town for a much needed get away to California. Katie sends me a text that says "Lute Olson is sitting in the row right in front of us" so I told her to take a picture with her cell phone and send it to me which she did. The next photo that she texted was this one. Brandon and Josh went to visit Lute (retired UofA basketball coach) and Dan took their picture. I think it's adorable and if you know us, we are huge fans of the U of A going back several generations of alumni. Gramma Tidwell was the most excited to have this picture enlarged to show off her grandson's or maybe since she is single and so is Lute, it's really Lute she wanted enlarged.........hmmmm
OH SO CUTE!
We went out last weekend and saw these adorable puppies for the first time in person, I have to say that they are all very cute! eyes wide open, all making that cute whinning and growling sounds. It's uncommon I think for a litter to have more females (5) then males (2) which is great for us because there are more people interested in females. I think there are 2 still needing homes. Jack (our dog, the father) is clueless that one of his daughters may be coming to live with us, he thinks he rules the roost, but just wait till he has a little girl pulling his tail and biting on his ears!!!!

BUSTED
So....anyone that knows us, knows that Jack isn't allowed in the Living room, since he was a puppy we have enforced this rule but we know he goes in there when no one is home because of some evidence that has been found that clearly isn't done by the cats. Brandon happened to be (quietly) home this day but Jack wasn't aware of his presents and got a little comfy!!! I wondered how those pillows always got messed up when no one was home.........well now we know!!!!
